These match grips really make that revolver feel like an auto. They wrap totally around the frame and an overhang is built into the grips. A recess is standard for single action cocking or a full overhang can be provided for full double action or International shooting. Similar in appearance to the European Match Erma revolver.
Grips are designed for single action shooting. With the wrap around the rear of the grips for the overhang, the trigger pull will be longer, but with the smith single action, this should present no problems, even with your hand size. DO NOT USE HEAVY LOADS as these style of grips are not designed for hunting, and we cannot guarantee agains splitting on overloads and magnums. With ejection you will have to use the ejector to push the cases out part way, and eject them by hand as you rotate the cylinder. This is normal, as the thumbrest gets in the way. This is not a defect, but part of the normal design, taking bullseye shooting techniques into consideration. With the 625 and 25's you should use .45 colt, or .45 ar brass instead of moon clips and .45 ACP.
